The cast of characters on board would produce one of the most bizarre maritime stories in history. After being wrecked on Houtman Abrolhos archipelago off the coast of Western Australia, a horrible tragedy of survival, manipulation, torture, sexual assault, and murder took place at the hands of the monstrous Jeronimus Cornelisz.
