In December of 2023, the rowing team of Salty Science will row across the Atlantic Ocean to raise money for marine conservation education. Starting in the Canary Islands and finishing in Antigua, the 3000 mile voyage will be done entirely without outside support or assistance, and will be completely self-sufficient.
Marine scientists Chantale Bégin, Noelle Helder, Isabelle Côté, and Lauren Shea are committed to marine conservation and education.
The money raised during this venture will be donated to three organizations that are committed to marine conservation and education.
