This is the first in a planned series of future episodes about the world's most well-known lighthouses. Hook Lighthouse in Ireland is over 1200 years old and is the oldest, intact, operational lighthouse in the world. The Eddystone Lighthouse off the coast of Plymouth, England has gone through numerous iterations, dating back to the 1600's.
